They can be picked up on Monday between 5:30 – 6:30 or Wednesday between 5:30 and 6:00:

Sports Night – October 28, 2015

WARNING ORDER – 781 Sports Night – Swimming

1. SITUATION

781 Squadron Cadets will participate in a sports night at Southland Leisure Centre on Wednesday October 28, 2015.

2. MISSION

781 Squadron has the opportunity to participate in a sports night at Southland Leisure Centre at 2000 Southland Drive SW, T2V 4S4 as guided by the squadron staff.

3. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. All cadets must arrive at Southland Leisure Center no later than 18:30 hours on October 28, 2015.
  2. Parents are to pick their cadet up no later than 21:30 hours.

4. DRESS

  1. Dress is appropriate swimwear.

5. COMMAND AND SIGNALS

  1. Officer in charge of this activity is Lt Boyce.

2015 Poppy Campaign

1. SITUATION

781 Squadron has been requested to assist with the 2015 Poppy Campaign by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 284 (Chapelhow).

2. MISSION

To campaign at Calgary International Airport on the following dates:

  1. Saturday, 31 Oct 15
  2. Sunday, 1 Nov 15
  3. Saturday, 7 Nov 15
  4. Sunday, 8 Nov 15

Cadets are required to participate on the dates volunteered for.

3. ADMINISTRATIVE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. RV location:
    1. Chapelhow Legion – Branch No. 284
      606 – 38th Avenue NE
      Calgary AB T2E 8J9
  2. Dress:
    1. Dress shall be C-2 for all cadets with an issued uniform. All others shall dress in appropriate civilian attire (prefer white collared shirt and dark dress pant).
    2. Dress for staff shall be No. 3. An exception will be made for those members that do not yet have the new DEU ranks. In this case member shall wear 3C with tie.
    3. CV’s shall dress in appropriate civilian attire.

4. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. poppyAll participants shall rendezvous at the designated venue NLT 0900 hrs on the Saturdays and NLT 0930 on the Sundays for transport to campaign location by Legion staff. Morning snacks will be made available.
  2. Transportation (contracted bus) will be provided by Chapelhow Legion.
  3. Return transport will arrive back at the Legion at approximately 1500 hrs where a lunch will be provided.
  4. Parents shall arrive at Chapelhow Legion NLT 1600 hrs to pick up their cadets.
  5. If cell phones, MP3 players, etc are brought, they are at the risk and responsibility of the cadet. 781 RCACS will not be fiscally responsible for any lost items.
  6. The following are prohibited items:
    1. Other personal electronic devices
    2. Knives, lighters, non-prescription drugs
    3. Smoking paraphernalia
