COs Parade

Dress (all cadets): C-2 (Uniform with collared shirt, tie, tunic, etc)
New Cadets: Dress pants or nice jeans that are clean and not ripped; dress shirt or a collared shirt.

Notes:

  1. Please make sure your hair, males and females, is up to standard.
  2. Cadets who arrive at 1830 (6:30) or later will be marked late.
  3. Make sure to have supper before coming to cadets to mitigate the cadet fainting on the parade square.
  4. Level 4s have their Aviation Evaluation on Wednesday so come prepared for that as it is essential you pass this evaluation to advance training levels.

Saturday April 30 – Gliding Day – Make sure to sign up with Mr Fisher if you have not yet been up flying with cadets.  This is a full day trip – be at Vecova back parking lot by 0700hrs and will return by 1730hrs

Wednesday May 4 – Level 4 Aviation Exam – Remember to prepare for this exam, it is essential to pass it to progress in your level.

Saturday May 7 – Orienteering Day – Make sure to sign up with Mr Fisher as this is a MANDATORY TRAINING DAY.  This is a full day adventure information contained: Warning Order 2016-signed Annex B OrineteeringWO  and Note: a location change to FISH CREEK PARK.  The access to the park for the event will be via 37th Street SW and 130th Ave.  This brings you to the Woodpath Road entranceway into the park off 130th Ave.  The location is called “Shannon Terrace”

Saturday May 7 – Music Level Testing – For all of the cadets in the band along with the others who applied to attend.  You will be excused from the Orienteering event.

Wednesday June 6 – Annual Ceremonial Review – This is the end of the year show that the cadets put a lot of work toward all year – and give us a chance to recognize their accomplishments!  More information to come.

Saturday June 11 – Annual Banquet – Sign up for this event by the end of April with OCdt Holmes.  $10 for cadets, $20 for parents – Sign up is required to ensure we order enough food.

Level 5 Mandatory PD Weekend in Penhold

Time: Arrive at Mewata Armouries by 1830, bus to depart at 1900 hrs for Penhold on Friday.  The bus will return to Mewata Armouries by 1400-1430 on Sunday.
Location: Mewata Armouries to catch the bus, Penhold for the weekend
Dress: C4 or C4a (but bring the uniform parts for C-2 incase they are required)

Saturday June 11

Time: 1700 meet and greet, 1800 supper, 2200 wrapup
Location: Simon’s Valley Ranch
Dress (all cadets): Mess uniform for the cadets including white shirt and black bow tie (if you have it), Female cadets can choose to wear a dress, skirt or dressy outfit instead.

Note: Cadets will need to pay $10 for the ticket, and Parents will need to pay $20 for the ticket.  Sign-up list is available at the office, see OCdt Holmes for more information.
