3rd Annual Veterans Food Drive

The 781 “Calgary” Air Cadet squadron is holding their Veterans Food Drive.

Cadets, families, schools, social groups and individuals are being encouraged to begin collecting food and cash to support our deserving veterans. People can drop off their donations of food and cash at the squadron offices on Wednesday evenings between the hours of 6:30 to 9:30pm  from now until November 6th2012  at 3304 33 St NW.

Over the years the quality life for our military veterans (young and old) has been on a serious decline and the 781 “Calgary” Air Cadets would like help to improve the day to day lives of Canadian Military Veterans.

This event will help to ensure that our veterans do not go hungry this winter and we are thrilled to be a part of this important event.  Everyone can make a difference through financial and food donations. Our Veterans have left us legacy of freedom, let us show them our appreciation for all they did for us.

Individuals and corporations who are unable to get down to the squadron , but wish to make a cash donation can send their cheques to the squadron office at 3304 – 33rd Street NW Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2L 2A6 and cheques should be payable to the Calgary Poppy Fund.

Thank you for supporting our veterans!!!
