781 "McCall Field" Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron

1. SITUATION

781 RCACS will take approximately forty (40) cadets to participate in a glider familiarization flying day at Netook Flying Centre on 24 Oct 15.

2. MISSION

Cadets are required to participate in familiarization/aviation days in accordance with the proficiency level QSP’s and CATO 51-01.

3. ADMINISTRATIVE INSTRUCTIONS

Cadets shall rendezvous via own means at the north parking area (rear) of Vecova on Saturday, 24 Oct 15 for transport via bus to Netook Flying Centre north of Olds, AB.

1. Dress:
   1. Cadets shall dress in layers. All cadets are expected to bring/wear:
      • Hat (ball cap, boonie);
      • Warm jacket (preferably waterproof);
      • Long pants;
      • T-shirt;sweatshirt/hoodie; and
      • Appropriate footwear for physical activity
   2. Additional Gear:
      • Water bottle;
      • Sunscreen; and
      • Morning snack

4. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. All participants shall rendezvous at the designated venue NLT 0730 hrs on Saturday, 24 Oct 15 where transport will be supplied and shall depart at 0800 hrs.
2. Return transport will arrive back to Vecova at approximately 1600 hrs.
3. Parents should arrive at Vecova to pick up their cadet(s) at 1600 hrs.
4. If cell phones, MP3 players, etc are brought, they are at the risk and responsibility of the cadet. 781 RCACS will not be fiscally responsible for any lost items.
5. The following are prohibited items:
   1. Other personal electronic devices
   2. Knives, lighters, non-prescription drugs
   3. Smoking paraphernalia
