Ex Gliding will be taking place on September 17th – and is our first opportunity to get the new cadets up in the air.  There are 4 of these weekends spread throughout the fall and spring of the training year and each cadet will have to attend one of the 4 as part of their mandatory training program.

Location: Meet at the back door of Vecova for 0630 on Saturday September 17th, 2016
Dress: Civvies – appropriate for being outdoors all day – a hat is to be worn on every cadets head
Who: A signup list will be filled in, only the first 40 cadets (plus 4 senior cadets) will be eligible to go – a secondary standby list will be setup in the event the 40 positions are not in place on the morning of.

Senior Cadet Ex ELROND COUNCIL – Saturday September 10th, 2016

The start-up day event for our Level 5 cadets to get rolling into the new training year!  All level 5 cadets (i.e. the level 4 cadets from last year and all of the level 5+ cadets) are urged to attend this very important session.

Who: Level 5 and 5+ Cadets
Time: September 10 – 0900-1600 hrs
Dress: Civvies – Business Casual (non ripped jeans and a collared shirt or bouse are acceptable)

Returning Cadet Night – September 7th, 2016

Cadets who took part int he 2015-2016 training period are asked to come with their parent/guardians on Wednesday September 7th for the returning cadet night.  This is an important evening for you to get the information for the training year, ensure you have the right uniform parts, and to update any changes to your medical and personal information.  The evening will start at 1900 and will go as late as 2100 – those who are there on time will move through the fastest as it will be first come – first served.

Who: All Cadets and Parents/Guardians
Time: September 7 – 1900-2100 hrs (or sooner)
Dress: Civvies for all cadets and staff
Location: Parade Square in Vecova
