Fall FTX (Field Training Exercise)

LIST OF CADETS AUTHORIZED TO ATTEND. 

If you gave your name to 2Lt Fisher, you may not appear on this list.. you are still able to attend as long as you have no known medical issues to keep you from attending.  (i.e. 30 minutes to medical)

TIMINGS  (departures from rear of Vecova)

Friday – 1730 for 1800 departure (Advance Party ONLY)

Saturday – all remaining cadets and staff 0630 for 0700 departure.

Returning 1600hrs Sunday

 

FTX #1 for the training year is open to all cadets of 781 Squadron. The exercise will take place on the 12/13/14 of October, an advance party of senior (Lvl 3/4/5) cadets will depart Friday evening, the remaining cadets will depart early the morning of the 13th.  (Lvl 1/2)

Return time will be approx 1600h on Sunday.

The focus of the exercise is “survival training”, cadets will be staying at Rocky Mountain Cadet Training Centre in the Waiparous area of Alberta (NW of Cochrane) The facility includes barracks with bunks, porta potty toilets and some indoor and outdoor training areas.

Please ensure that the email address used below is one that can be check the evening BEFORE departure for any further details and changes (times, pickups, kit lists, cancellations) Please also ensure that a family member is available to pick up your cadet any time between departure and return in case of medical or administrative emergency (cadet become sick or is injured, issues at the training location that result in us coming home early)

ENSURE YOU HAVE WINTER BOOTS and WINTER SOCKS and a good JACKET and GLOVES!

REMEMBER – all LEVEL 1 & 2 cadets, please bring your KIT in a suitcase, dufflebag, or backpack on WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 10 for inspection.

LEVEL 3/4/5 Cadets must ensure they have the PROPER KIT – inspections will take place if we feel they are warranted.
